I ordered a takeaway and the food was FULL of oil. Most disappointing. Goan curries are not oily. I know this from years of eating traditional, Goan food. I ordered the chicken cafreal and bombay aloo and couldn’t believe how tasteless and bland both dishes were. I really had high hopes for this place but the food was simply not authentic. To make matters worse, when I got home the oil from the dishes had leaked all over the bag. I appreciate this may have been a bad batch but due to this poor experience I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all unfortunately. The best thing was the rice and poppadum with mango chutney!

The restaurant has a unique and industrial feel to its premises. The staff greeted us warmly and seated us at a table with a view of the river. The food was served quickly and was delicious, offering great value for the price.

Frequent diner usually before or after a movie at the Watermans Cinema. Great selection of curries and the service is excellent. My favourites are Chicken Tikka Biryani, Chicken Tikka Bhuna and Chicken dhansak.

The restaurant offers a selection of traditional curries on the main menu, as well as a quick and affordable lunch menu and a delicious Sunday buffet. The ambiance is simple, so it may not be the best choice for a romantic dinner.
