The Royal Oak - HOUNSLOW

This charming pub by the river has a great atmosphere, but parking can be a bit of a challenge with no on-site parking. However, you can find street parking with some perseverance. The pub itself has a lovely setting and ambiance. Our main dishes (Boar Burger and Pie) were excellent, but we were disappointed with our apple crumble dessert. When we provided feedback to the staff, they gladly refunded us without us having to ask, which was a nice gesture. I have to agree with others who have mentioned that the staff could be more attentive. While they were all friendly, they were often gathered together or on their phones when approached at the bar. Overall, the experience could be improved if the staff were more focused on the pub and its customers. [hidden link]

I had my 50th birthday party in this pub, the gabelbuffet was fabulous and the staff was very friendly and welcoming, they all made a wonderful job in the service and eating. big pub to celebrate in x
