Aux Moules - Hourtin

Visited as a family of 4 and had a nice meal. So many different types of shells (as you imagine), but many other seafood and meat dishes here. A few children give options even if they do not want fish!!! Very good, friendly...service, drink good value and great selection of desserts also. Note that you can't book for parties under 10, so just turn on, you may need for a short time.

Nice food full of French families. Moules and no foot! Good value for money and good service. Recommended in an expensive resort.

Fab place with a small but beautiful menu. I love these places! The bigorneaux were delicious and the anchovies too. We had fish and chips, very breetish I know but they were lovely. Cracking atmosphere and the staff are absolutely brilliant! Get yourself there for...some really fresh seafood. Finally it's called aux moules for a reason and of course I leave the best til last. Fresh as you like! You MUST have these!

We have booked a table for 11 and received a great friendly service: an authentic French restaurant that you guess, it mainly shells, but also some other seafood and fish dishes. We had Whitebait and Winkles to start. The Moules Marinere and Frites were...big and also the tuna steak. Beautiful rose wine served in litre carafe for 8 euros good value. Very recommended and we will return.

Simple but good meals. a "good franquette" ambience, we settle on wooden benches around large tables not erect. dishes are served in very small quantity, ratio quantity / price not terrible! certain dishes not available. some drinks served in cans, carafe wine, but the dishes are good.
