Abe's Cajun Market - Houston

We stayed here on the recommendation of the employees at the Lone Star Air Museum. It was one of our best Texas meals during the visit. Portion size is generous! Friendly staff and helpful with tourists. The cheese cake was amazing and huge for the price. Great place that is probably a local favorite.

This place was great. Excellent cancer dishes. I recommend getting the sampler of the soup. Good wild boar, the fried mushrooms were delicious. Don't forget the cakes Desserts .

Very good place and amazing food, fried pickles, bbq roast beef po boy must try best to not hesitate to go here!

The shrimp muffauletta was amazing. I couldn't stop half! Abe's has delicious food, friendly staff and large portions.

Love, love, love this Cajun restaurant. Prices are reasonable and everything I have tried here is great. They have a wonderful Jalepeno Ranch dressing have to request it). Outside dining available and is very nice when the weather cooperates. Wait staff has always been friendly and helpful. Restaurant has always been very clean and orderly. Restrooms are always clean. Today, as always, I purchased desserts from Abe's along with lunch. The first two pictures are Hummingbird cake- a Southern favorite banana cake with pineapple and pecans. The 3rd and 4th are Carrot cake also delicious. The last picture is a Brownie and a Pecan Praline brownie which is also very good). They have pie by the slice, bread pudding, cheesecake, and several other cake varieties. The desserts servings are as plentiful and tasty as the rest of the foods served at Abe's. Really is a great place to eat.
