I enjoy spicy food, but it's worth noting that even their mild heat (which you can specify when you order) is quite hot. Their sweet rice with mango dessert is generously sized and perfect for sharing among a group of people. This review was updated on February 5th, 2017.
I am extremely excited that I finally had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant! They have a few tables inside their small grocery store. The food was amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients, provided excellent recommendations, and most of the menu can be made vegan. You can choose the level of spiciness to suit your preference. We ordered panang curry, pad nam prik pao, and pad thai. The entrees cost around $10 and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. The table next to us had four vegan diners. The grocery store offers a range of interesting products, including various vegan curry pastes and types of rice noodles. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorite recent finds in Houston, particularly due to the wide selection of vegan options. Delicious!
We only live 4 blocks away from this hidden gem. The staff here truly understands what you mean when you ask for vegan options. I have tried the pad Thai without egg and the tofu with morning glory before, and both dishes were incredibly delicious with large servings. Additionally, they also have a small Asian grocery store located on site.
The curries at this restaurant are just as delicious as everything else on their menu. I enjoy spicy food, but even their mild heat (which you can specify when ordering) is quite hot. The sweet rice with mango dessert is huge and can easily be shared among multiple people. This review was last updated on February 5, 2017.
