Bacaro Kitchen Wine - Houston

Tonight we enjoyed a fantastic celebratory meal. We were marking the purchase of a house an hour away and couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed that we only just discovered this gem of a restaurant. Everything was incredible—the wine selection was excellent, and the port with dessert is a must-try. I had the Bolognese, while my partner chose the Lasagna. It's tough to declare a winner, but I think Maria's Lasagna took the prize for the best dish. We definitely ordered too much food because we wanted to sample everything on the menu. We have one more night in town, coinciding with the kickoff of Houston Restaurant Week #HRW. This place is definitely worth a visit!

I absolutely love this restaurant! If you're looking to have a wonderful time with friends or family in a charming atmosphere, this is the perfect spot. María, Bill, and their team always make us feel welcomed. Thank you for that! Today, I had the pleasure of trying the blackened flounder with cream sauce and fresh green beans, along with a Caprese salad and fried calamari. Everything was delicious!

I enjoyed a solo meal at the bar while my family was away, and it was a wonderful experience. Maria, one of the owners, was very friendly and provided excellent service and conversation, along with her husband and son. The food was delicious; I had lasagna and a salad. It's refreshing to discover a quality, family-run restaurant that isn't part of a chain.

Good local neighborhood place.. food was good. Ordered the cheese cake, and they only had Carmel or chocolate sauce. They need to do better than that let's get some raspberry or strawberry sauce
