Biryani Factory - Houston

I was craving some delicious biryani during my visit to Houston, so we decided to try this restaurant. We ordered Fish 65 and Gobi Manchurian as appetizers, and for our main course, we had the boneless Chicken Dum Biryani. For dessert, we enjoyed Ras Malai. The food was exceptional, and the service was excellent as well. This is our second visit to this restaurant, and we will definitely be returning. Food rating: 5/5.

As for vegetarian options, they offer vegetable biryani and palak paneer. Parking is convenient with a three-story parking garage available.

Had traveled from Dallas and the wife and I were looking for some good Indian food in the area. I thought we had a pretty good place we would frequent in the Dallas area. Biryani was way better than that restaurant. The Chicken Curry was amazing. The Garlic Naan superb. And they doubled the amount of Chicken 65 I am normally used to. The owner was super nice. They are on the second floor, not sure if that is a deterrent for some (don't let it be), give them a chance it's great food.

Honestly, if you're going to call yourself Biryani Factory, I expect your Biryani to be at least decent if not good. I'd recommend a change in name to something else because Biryani certainly isn't their specialty.As a Pakistani-American who grew up eating (no lie THE best Biryani (my mom and dads' , I know what biryani is supposed to taste like and this was not it. I've been trying Biryani all over Houston to find just one that is tolerable or even somewhat close to the biryani I grew up with but have not come across it yet.I ordered a chicken biryani. It lacked any spice. On the contrary, it was weirdly and overly sour, almost tart. The chicken itself was burnt and dry. I could barely swallow it but, as a poor college student, I had to at least eat a bit of what I had paid for but could not finish it. The only reason. I am giving it two stars instead of one is because, unlike other places I've tried biryani, at least this one didn't make me feel sick the next day and wasn't overly oily. But that's all the credit I can give it.

Great service, the food taste great every time I go. Hope to try the rest of their menu this upcoming year.
