Cottonwood - Houston

My boyfriend liked his burger and I enjoyed the chicken tenders. My favorite dish is the smoked wings! I could eat them every day for a week!

I recently attended the Last Resort Festival at Cotton Wood to support a wonderful cause - Children Diabetes. The event was organized by Brent Dudley, a noble and dedicated individual who is fighting for his son with Type 1 Diabetes. He recognized the struggles of other families in similar situations and brought together various local musical talents and the Cotton Wood owners to host an incredible concert/festival. The goal was successfully met, and attendees enjoyed a fantastic day from 11:00am until closing. The staff at Cotton Wood were exceptional throughout the event, making it a truly memorable experience.

This restaurant is a great local spot for drinks and food. The service is good and they have a nice variety of drinks to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is no table service, but once you order your food, it comes out quickly. I recommend trying the tacos, they are delicious!

Went for Steak night and Texans Preseason game. Prime rib and the Mac cheese were great but broccoli was too salty. The music was top tier, great crowd and the bartenders were outstanding!

Cottonwood has slowly shifted as the years have gone on and I think overall it's for the better/fits the neighborhood bar needs.I actually come here more often for the food than the drinks, but the drink selection is solid. It feels wrong to steer anyone in a particular direction on food because an overwhelming majority of it is great, but the steak meal is a personal go to. If you're not feeling steak, see about getting the sides the mashed potatoes and green beans warm the soul.
