Plenty of seating, really great waiter (forgot his name), bad bunny on at a good noise level sometimes brunch music is too loud. I had shrimp tacos delicious. My friend had the pancakes and said they were just ok. I'll be back, it's really cute.
Went for Houston Restaurant Week. Frozen margarita tasted weird. The Mahi Mahi and the Shrimp Diablo were over cooked. The Banana Foster dessert was just banana pudding in a cocktail glass. Very disappointing, especially for the price. We won’t go back.
We ordered from the Houston Restaurant Weeks Menu and were completely disappointed. The food was pretty boring. The real deal breaker was when they served my main course nine minutes earlier than my wife's. In my opinion El Venado failed to justify its price point.
The menu is pretty basic with not many options other than tacos. Food is good, just wish there were a few more options. Been a couple times for lunch for business meetings and service was spotty. Maybe this is a better dinner spot?
Did t eat because they forgot about and didn’t care about our reservation…
