Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Houston

We are completely in love with this restaurant—it's our favorite place to eat! The service is consistently fantastic, the food is always excellent, and they play wonderful early 2000s music, which adds to the fun atmosphere.

This is the closest experience to a Yakiniku restaurant in Japan. The food is incredible, and the service is excellent. I will definitely be returning!

However, on my second visit, things took a turn for the worse. Our waitress had an unpleasant attitude and didn’t seem welcoming at all. As for the food, it might have been due to the rush hour, but the meats we ordered were overly fatty and lacking in the meaty parts. Overall, it wasn't a great experience this time. They really need to improve the quality of both the food and the service, especially since their prices are on the higher side.
