Hartz Chicken Buffet - Houston

I really enjoyed how the buffet food was cooked to order. The chicken gizzards were tender and fresh—oh my, the food was delicious, aside from the desserts. And those rolls were amazing! The customer service was excellent; our server was very attentive.

I used to work at Hartz. This must be one that is individually owned and just use the franchise name. The food was hot but not delicious!

I tried some gizzard. Wasn't disappointed but I sat drive through for 12 minutes, no one was like sorry. Soon as I paid, the disregard started. I got my gizzard, but not before I attempted to blow my car horn to get a refund. I just surrendered to the wait and ate my gizzards as I drove. Never again.

I go there for the gizzards and the Catfish. But I wish they would purchase another ice cream machine. I do miss it.
