Feedback gevenThis place is horrible! Where should I start? Let's start with the creepy interior with the gun shot to the window covered with tape. The food is even worse. I had the Oxtail Dinner with 3 sides and cornbread. The food is supposed to be homemade. Well the macaroni and cheese isn't. You can taste the box and fake powered cheese in it. The Oxtails are not good, I could have cooked better and I don't know how to cook them. All in all I would not go back and I had been waiting to go for several months. I was disappointed at best and to pay $32 dollars for something that is not good or not what you were expecting. ?
My family and I stopped here because we heard this place was good. Whom ever said that lied service was horrible food was even worse. The pork chop was dry the ox tails were okay the side were horrible Mac and cheese was nasty and running the yams were nasty and the chicken was dry. This place really needs to think more on how they cook and the service they give this was not a good Experience at all! We had to leave and go to another place to get good food. You need new employees and a new cook Then re open.
The Staff was wonderful the restaurant was really nice and clean! The food portions were huge and the food was amaZing!amazing!! I will go back time and time again!
This was my first time the food was everything I had been hearing about. Excellent!!! I had the turkey wings, cornbread dressing, greens and rice with oxtail gravy? finger! Licking! Good!! 5 Stars! Stars!!
I rarely eat out anymore. I was SUPER tired, overworked and just wanted a hot-but soulful meal. I'd eaten here before-long ago, but was pleased. This time, Tuesday November 14th around 6pm, there was 1 customer ahead of me. Eventually, one person came in behind me-wanting to order thxgivN dressing. The worker grabbed a styrofoam plate and went to the back. That concerned me, but I didn't say anything. She returned with rice on the plate. I didn't notice any residue, so I'm not 100% sure if it came off another plate or sanitary surface of any sort. When I got home, the rice was SUPER COLD but the meat n gravy was hot. The cabbage was overly salted and mushy-overcooked. I had to dump the meat off to warm up the rice n gravy and separately microwave the meat to match the warmth. $30 for ONE plate and they didn't care enough to keep rice on the steam table til closing. People, cook for yourselves. People want the money. They DON'T care to work nor utilize proper safety when working. I draw the line at my health.
