La Cruderia Michelada - Houston

The micheladas are not good at all, I tried the clásica with a Corona. The service was not great either, took about 15 mins just for someone to get our drink order. The food was lacking flavor or it was way to spicy to enjoy. Almost no aguas frescas were available either. Overall not a good place.

If you love seafood, you should check out La Cruderia, a vibrant and authentic Mexican restaurant in Houston. The place has a festive and colorful atmosphere, and the service is friendly and efficient. I ordered the Coctel Vuelve a la Vida, a seafood cocktail with shrimp, fish, octopus, oyster, tomato, onion, pepper, cilantro, sauce, and avocado. It was fresh and delicious, with tender seafood, tangy sauce, and creamy avocado. It was a generous and satisfying portion that I enjoyed with some crackers. I also had a margarita, which was well-made and refreshing. It had the right amount of tequila, lime juice, and salt. La Cruderia is a great place to enjoy quality Mexican food and drinks.

A couple of friends of mine have highly recommended LA Cruderia and it lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Awesome place on the SW side. Fresh seafood and other menu items are super delicious. A must-go to if you're in the area. I wish I took more pics, but I was too busy eating and enjoying my my meals.

6/23/23 EDIT: Changing the rating to a four, service was kinda slow this time around. I can understand being busy, but it took us 30 40 to put in orders for food and this time the drinks felt a little weaker. Still love those birria fries though!Edit: we’ve been here THREE times in six days and the service doesn’t miss.Our experience at La Crudería was honestly one of the best examples of customer service we’ve gotten so far in Houston. The manager Ms. Nede took amazing care of us and she was on top of everything. She made honest recommendations I had my first tamarindo margarita and I was so blown away that I had to order two! The birria fries were AMAZING, one of the best bites of food I’ve had in my life. The quesabirria tacos tho??? Whoever thought of that deserves an award lmao.She also recommended that we come back on Friday night for the car show and we did. Super cool cars and a chill atmosphere, kids and adults alike are welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough, I don’t know what other people have experienced in terms of service, but it doesn’t get any warmer than this. Love it here, would drive SIX hours and back just for the experience.

Read good reviews but i found them to be false. Raw oysters were tasteless, grilled were terribly salty and not tasty. Ceviche was so spicy I could not finish it. All sauces were also way to spicy to do anything but ruin your taste buds and I love spicy food. Sandwich was to salty to finish. Never again!
