La Fresca Pizza - Houston

Amazing, amazing pizza! I've been enjoying it for ten years now.... I highly recommend this place.

This is the only pizza I enjoy. The quality ingredients and authentic mozzarella make all the difference. If I were in their position, I wouldn't change a thing.

I had an excellent calzone here, packed with meat and cheese, and it was offered at a fantastic price. I heard someone mention this place on the radio while discussing pizza options, and I’m glad I decided to try it. The calzone was delicious, though my only issue was that it had a bit too much salt on top. Overall, the flavor was great, and it was quite filling. The prices are reasonable, but the parking situation can be a bit tight. Keep in mind that this is primarily a takeout spot, with just one table inside.

I go here whenever I crave margarita pizza. They’re good, especially with the thin crust pizzas!

I'm a huge fan of La Fresca, especially the Heights location. When I found myself near the Kirby location, I decided to give it a try. I was surprised to learn they charge an additional dollar for each topping on the $8.49 pizza, which means you're essentially just paying for the crust and sauce. In contrast, the Heights location offers unlimited toppings at no extra charge. If you're a true La Fresca enthusiast, I highly recommend sticking with the Heights location!
