Feedback gevenI visited for the first time on Thursday night and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy, romantic, and inviting. I went with a friend, and we both truly enjoyed the ambiance. We indulged in some wine—I have a fondness for Rosé. The restaurant plays vinyl records, which adds to the charm. Olivier assisted us with our wine selection, demonstrating extensive knowledge about both food preparation and wine pairings. He was incredibly friendly and warm. We’ll definitely return. Thank you for the excellent service!
My husband and I had a delightful dinner at this restaurant. Chef Olivier greeted us with his warm personality and cheerful demeanor, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, yet cozy and understated. The menu was filled with so many intriguing options that we decided to let the chef surprise us with a five-course tasting menu. We started with lobster bisque, followed by butternut squash ravioli in a creamy sauce. Next came sea snails served on a bed of lentils, followed by tender lamb chops accompanied by Haricots Verts and potatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed a rich crème brûlé. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared. The service struck a lovely balance; it was attentive without feeling rushed. The wine list offered a solid selection, and we were pleasantly surprised when Olivier recommended a more affordable wine than we had chosen—it was an excellent match for our meal. As we finished our dinner and prepared to leave, Olivier surprised us with an additional dessert of chocolate mousse to celebrate our anniversary—a lovely touch that we truly appreciated (there's always room for a good mousse!). I highly recommend this restaurant!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The waiter was incredibly funny and friendly. I tried the special, which was roasted chicken with macaroni, and I would definitely enjoy that meal again. As of 2021, the staff remains just as friendly and funny, and the wine is absolutely delicious!
Amazing food and experience. Every dish was great. Esp. this risotto with shrimp, Swiss Chard with garden basil and Japanese purple Sisho (from the garden). The owner Olivier was such a pleasure. Due to the coronavirus you can say that the restaurant has gone through drastic changes. Olivier was our waiter and cook. After lunch I also bought her wine. Enough to come back soon and hope to see this place thrive. It deserves that.
I have no earthly idea why this place as completely empty on a Friday night. I have ZERO complaints. I am writing this review to keep the doors open so I can come back lol! Order: Bone-in chicken breast with carrots, peach upside down cake and a cheese and meat tray. 2 bottles of Red wine. The food was made from scratch and the place was very quiet and cozy. The food was well made and absolutely a French dish. Service: Outstanding! I send my highest recommendation! I will be back!
