THE BEST TEX MEX in Houston, and maybe further out I’m sure … it’s so good always FRESH produce.. real real tortillas .. very very attentive wait staff. Let it be 10 seconds and you look around they are there with refills and chip and sauce refill.. Very reasonable prices for a good amount of food. Can’t beat the food or the prices nor the service. We had an amazing experience at Lopez Mexican Restaurant! The service is first class, they did an excellent job of taking care of us. They got our orders out to us very fast, and we had a group of 12! I would definitely go back, and I recommend them for a large group! The only setback is that it can be very loud during the day, so it's not the place for an intimate, personal date during the day. But to me, it shows that they get a lot of business because of their service. The menu is very good, with authentic Mexican dishes and Tex-Mex as well. The prices are very reasonable, and there is adequate parking as well.

My husband and I have been coming to Lopez ever since our first date over 4 years ago. Awesome staff and absolutely delicious, great quality food! My favorite drink is the grapefruit La Reina and hubby goes for the margaritas. One of our faves for sure

The place has changed in the 15 years since I last went but the food is still the same. Excellent full of flavor and seasoned just right. The staff is all new and not as friendly as before, but as stated I've not been in 15 years.

The menu is slightly limited compared to other Mexican restaurants. However the service was great and the prices are reasonable.
