Miss Saigon Pho Grill - Houston

The pho and apps are really tasty. The service is phenomenal. The owner touches every table and works the floor herself and her husband is in the kitchen. I highly recommend this little gem.

The food a four, the service a two. We stopped by during lunch and they were overwhelmed. Tables were not bussed. We waited probably five minutes to get our drinks. Best sweet tea I?ve had in a long time. Small dish of the accoutrements (cilantro, beansprouts, jalapeño, lime, basil). Very nice clear broth. However, light flavor of anise and cinnamon is not to my liking. But,because it was so light, I was able to cover with hoisin and siracha. Big, beautiful place off 290 close to the loop.

The food was decent, but the service could have been improved. The portion sizes were not worth the price paid. The pork fried rice lacked flavor and the meat was unseasoned and bland. The unsweetened tea was weak and had a subtle hint of dish soap and lemon flavor, suggesting the cups may not have been properly rinsed.

I recently dined at this pho restaurant and was extremely satisfied with my experience. I was in the area and craving pho, so I decided to give this place a try since it was the closest one nearby. I went during lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised to find they had a lunch special for $11.99 which included an entree (pho, vermicelli bowl, or rice dish), a spring roll or egg roll, and a drink. The beef pho that I ordered was delicious and hit all the right spots. As someone who is particular about pho due to my family owning a pho restaurant in the past, I can say that this dish was pretty close to perfection in my book. The meat, broth, and overall flavor were on point. The service was excellent as well, with very friendly staff. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant next time I am in the area.

I used to travel long distances to find good Pho, but now I don't have to. This restaurant is incredibly convenient, reasonably priced, and incredibly friendly. The food is delicious in every way possible. There are countless ways to describe how amazing it is, but you really just have to try it for yourself!
