Pancho's Mexican Buffet - Houston

The worst experience I've ever had. There was no one present, and the doors were locked.

Everything remains just as we remembered. This location on Hwy 45 South is clean, the service is friendly, and the delicious Tex-Mex cuisine tastes exactly the same as it did back in the day. (Just a heads up, the Hwy 45 North location is a different story, unfortunately.) My family has fond memories of special dinner outings at the Bellaire, TX location, while my husband's family enjoyed meals at the Spring Branch spot during the 1960s and 1970s. After we got married in the 1980s, our kids would look forward to their annual family birthday dinners at the SW Houston/Hwy 59 location. We can't wait to return soon and share this experience with our children and their children, so they can create their own wonderful memories while raising the flag. More soppapillas, please!

It's been years since our last visit, and my mother-in-law used to adore coming here for the sopapillas and honey. The food itself deserves three stars for taste and quality, and the portions are generous. The fourth star, however, goes to the sweet little lady who brought us everything we requested with a radiant smile. We made sure to give her a generous tip because she truly deserved it. They also have a dessert bar with churros, chocolate cake, and cookies, and the churros were quite good. I still remember on our last visit, I humorously raised a white flag to signal our surrender—hey, I’m easily entertained!

We just left Panchos in Humble and OH MY GOSH! This is the cleanest restaurant and friendliest people!! We will be coming back next time we’re in this area!! This brought back so many childhood memories with my family.

I'm sorry but I have to be honest. The food looked ok but no flavor in anything. Put it this way. My table didn't finish their first plate, much less get seconds. Staff was cool though.
