Pax Americana - Houston

Visited Pax for the 2nd time last night and happy to say it was as good as I remembered.

It was my niece's birthday and it was right after Harvey hit so I was really happy that they were able to accommodate us.

We had a very enjoyable dinner and drinks this eveningThe menu is full of great small plate choices featuring lots of veggies and lighter fare.

This could be a gem of a place but the night we dined, they were short on waitstaff , the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed overdone. Unfortunately, it was too cold, otherwise, this looks like the perfect place for sitting outside on the patio with a view of the river, open air and energetic city vibes.

Food was not hot, luke warm at best. Server couldn't answer simple questions about the menu or the fireworks cruise after dinner. Very disappointed with the whole meal. Fireworks we're awesome!
