Pinkerton's Barbecue - Houston

For a group of four, I ordered a pint each of mac and cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad; one pound of brisket, a half pound of pork ribs, and a beef rib that weighed about a pound. If you’re a fan of bread, make sure to order enough for the table, as they only provide three slices for four people, and the line was too long for me to go back for more. Everything we tried was fantastic. One of my friends preferred the pork rib over the beef rib, but the rest of us couldn’t get enough of the beef ribs and brisket. While the sides are good, they’re more of the classic staples you’d expect at a Texas barbecue rather than standout dishes. I also loved that they have a full bar with very reasonable prices, and happy hour on Thursdays features $2 beers. Overall, a great spot to enjoy some amazing barbecue!

My cousin and nephew loved the tender brisket and ribs. I may have gotten the wrong g thing because I was already full before arriving, I had the turkey sandwich. Bad choice. The beans were not southern baked beans that are sweets these beans were bland with no flavor.Parking: Parking okay but not a lot.

All the meats were good but the sides not so much the beans should be more loose and add more flavor.... I tried everything on the menue except the ribs beef they were out see attached picture and follow me on trip advisor under AUSAGUY007 for food

We decided to visit Pinkerton's for lunch after reading the reviews, and we were not let down! The ribs were the best I've ever had—so tender they practically melted in my mouth, and the flavor was outstanding. The brisket was excellent as well, and the potato salad was top-notch. I highly recommend this place; you shouldn't leave Houston without trying it!

This was our first time visiting, and my wife and I were absolutely thrilled. Out of all the BBQ places in Texas, this one is by far the best. The brisket was incredibly delicious—super tender, juicy, and with the perfect level of smokiness. We also tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it was nothing short of incredible. Even the pickles, jalapeños, and the tangy coleslaw were fresh and flavorful. Thank you, Joe, for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!
