Tamales Dona Tere - Houston

You should be good with fools then, but now the food tamales are not the same as before. Today I order the quesabirria because they do not have the tamales, it took a little to get my order. The Consomé was cold, the queen had no meat at all, only tortilla and cheese. My friend ordered a combo

Hidden jewel!!! The maza was soft and tasty. The bread on the Tortas tasted freshly baked and the Puercoplatte was delicious!!!!??? !

Great genuine Mexican food!!! Found Doña Tere visits my brother in Houston and this is now our visit to the restaurant. Great little slice of Mexico.

I came here on the basis of a friend recommendation and the place not disappointed. I ordered a combo plate that disproves a tampale, a fried taco with beans and rice (I think,). The Tamale was made with pork and was fantastic. I'd definitely come back. Go on!

I was buying their tamales for years. Then a couple of weeks ago I decided to buy some and they have changed!!! Yes they are bigger but not better. The masa is very dry and bland. AND THEY CHARGE $43 for a dozen tamales!!!! THATS INSANE!!! We live in Houston where there are many places that have good tamales. I have not paid no where near that for a dozen tamales. DON?T WASTE YOUR MONEY. BIGGER DOES NOT MEAN BETTER!!!
