However, I have to give them a 3-star rating because the green salsa has made my wife sick on two occasions over the years we've been going there—and it happened again just yesterday. I personally avoid the salsa due to my low-sodium diet, so I can’t speak for it directly, but I can assure you my wife will never touch the green salsa again. I'm not sure what shortcuts they might be taking, but the salsa should be made fresh daily and handled with clean hands and proper refrigeration. I could go on about this, but it's disappointing to see such a great restaurant affected by this issue.

The service from our waitress, Janeth, was excellent and very attentive. However, the customer service from the manager was extremely poor. We found a hair in our wings, with the wing literally hanging from it. We requested to cancel our wing order due to this issue and returned them to her, but all she said was that it wasn’t her fault or the fault of the staff. Despite this, we were still charged for the wings. I cannot recommend this place; they don’t deliver on the atmosphere they advertise, and my experience on my first visit was very disappointing. The breaded shrimp looked more like breaded toast.

Outstanding service and delicious food! I walked in weighing around 175 pounds and definitely left feeling like I was over 200! The salsa verde is unparalleled, and the California burrito is far superior to Arandas’. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

First time and got the California burrito w barbacoa and it was to go and my husband (hard critic) went and got it while I waited in the car. He came out with the bag and said it looked very clean and nice in there. Then we went home and the food was amazing and well worth the price. I'll be going to dine in for sure next time. He even said the man was nice!

The pozole is delicious and so are the micheladas.
