Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles

The best rice noodles in Houston! My favorite dish is the green pepper fish flavor, which includes a variety of ingredients such as fish, ham, half an egg, lettuce, wood ear mushrooms, corn, chives, tofu sponge, and minced pork. It's a little spicy, which I love. My second favorite is the chicken soup; the chicken strips are incredibly tender and full of flavor.

I couldn't help but feel that a similar restaurant in Katy offers more ingredients in their noodle soup compared to this place, so I'll be sure to revisit that location next time. From what we tried in Katy, the fish and green pepper rice noodle (R10) was our favorite—definitely a 5/5! The fish maw and chicken rice noodle (R11) was decent, but it lacked flavor, so I’d give it a 3/5.

I ordered the fish maw old chicken soup rice noodle. The second picture is the menu they gave me, which shows a chicken leg and specific type of vegetables, so I ordered that pointing at the picture and asked for more of the veggies, again pointing at thepicture, and I was aware of the charge for additional veggie. The first pic shows the noodle i got, there is no chicken leg,they used some really blend tasting sliced chicken with some batter, the veggie is completely different from what the pictureshows. I find it very disappointing, this is false advertising. When I asked the server where is the chicken leg, she saidthat?s just a picture. Later I found out that they updated the menu recently, third pic shows the pic on the old menu with theold pricing, which that pic is a lot closer to what it is. So they purposely changed the pic for something that is moremisleading, and i hate this kind of dishonest practice. Also i ordered the fruit tea and it was way too sour. All in all I wouldnever come back again. My husband was disappointed by the fish noodle too. We like the 10second rice noodle in Katy, too bad wecant say the same for this location.

However, I visited this location after enjoying the Katy one for a week, where I dined every day. After moving to a hotel closer to the Bellaire location, I wanted to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was that the menu here was not as detailed or helpful as the one in Katy. Some items available at Katy were missing from this location’s menu. I would suggest updating your menus as it's a small investment that could greatly enhance customer satisfaction. Another issue I noticed was that our waitress spent most of her time at a table on the phone and didn’t check on us or refill our water glasses. She was not very attentive or engaging. In contrast, the service at Katy was outstanding; the staff frequently checked on us, and my water cup was always full. I recommend addressing these small yet significant aspects. I hope that on my next visit, I can give you a full five-star review!

I've been 3x now and LOVE this place! There's a small selection of wonderful rice noodle dishes, and you definitely won't leave hungry with the large portions. It feels like you find something new in your soup with every bite! Also...try the lotus rootappetizer. It's wonderful! 10/10 will definitely be back.
