Truck Yard - Houston

Okay WOW, what a funny place! I'm from Austin and visited Houston. This place was such a unique little piece of Austin's inheritance. The interior has benches in truck beds for sitting, has large POD/container as stairs and an upper level for hanging and drinking. The live music was great, but they also have a karaoke stand when you sit on the show yourself. The vibes were just at the point, the drinks were great, and the food trucks were delicious. I could stay honest here all day, the weather was nice, the crowd was great, and the staff was so nice! Would recommend looking for a little different in downtown. You also have a working machine:

Always be looking for the Cuban Spot Truck. The food is so good. The Truckyard Bar also has some delicious drinks! Great place to hang out. Casual bar essentially outdoor, but has some interior seats.

If you want something from everyday, it is. It's a great place to hang around. The atmosphere is covered. They have exterior and interior seats. They offer various types of games to play; Ping Pong, Pool, etc. You have a live band on certain nights. There are several different food trucks to choose from. I will definitely come back.

Fantastic place to hang around! Tons of cool spots to sit and drink the delicious Truckberry Lemonade on hot Texas days. Many food trucks if you're hungry. Dog-friendly too. Drive the giant wheel if you want. Bartenders are super nice. Just a great place in the middle of town.

On the good side, they have the best cheese steak sandwiches around. Their brisket nachos are also great. On the downside, the drinks are overpriced and the venue is so big that in can feel very slow if it's not packed. So go on a night when you know it's going to be packed if you want the best experience.
