The Masala Chai and Pani Puri appetizer were a perfect way to start dinner. Pani puri presentation, the taste of the Pani (water) was just right. For the main course I ordered the Jackfruit (catahal) Biryani. This vegetarian option was certainly a delicacies I wanted to try for a while. The presentation was very appealing to the eyes. Overall it tasted good, but it felt like the spices and the Jackfruit did not mix well with each other. The Okra and Raw Mango vegetables were an interesting take and tasted great. The Kulfi Falooda, the presentation was good. The Kufi himself tasted brilliant. Tone comment is that the vermicelli noodles feel out of place with the Kulfi. I would recommend removing the Falooda component from the menu. A total of an excellent experience and a place to visit major life events. Good food, good ambience and acceptable service. Yeah, it's on the expensive side.
Great presentations of food! Each dish had its own unique flavors. The drinks were also delicious. The service is amazing.
Absolutely the best Indian culinary experience in Houston. The atmosphere and the ambience were excellent, no Indian food smells, the service was faultless and the food was great. My wife and I had the Ajwaini Paneer Tikka, the Peshawari Tikka and the Achari Shrimps from the Tandoor. We also had a Chole Amritsari Curry. Everything was perfect. Best Chole I had a restaurant. We had Naan and Laccha Paratha. The best Naan and Parathas we had in Houston. To dessert I had the Kulfi and my wife had the Gulab Jamun, also very, very good. The entire experience was so good that I had to meet the chef (who was also the owner) to complicate him on everything. A fantastic experience and evening. This restaurant is my place for Indian food in Houston. We only needed 4 years to find it (Update, my wife did it). We always have to go there to try the rest of the menu.
I love the food. The ambience is also good. Chef Sunil makes amazing work with presentation. Biryani is a must. Cababs are delicious. One of the few upscale restaurants with such tasteful dishes. Will definitely come back.
