I tried the Southwest-style salad, which was unique and very tasty! My husband ordered the burger and loved it.
The food is excellent, with quality ingredients and exquisite recipes. However, I do not recommend the desserts, as we had a rather unappetizing cake. It seems that the cakes are sourced from elsewhere. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, friendly staff, and a clean, modern setting. Unfortunately, the restrooms are in poor condition—old, unattractive, and not properly maintained. They definitely need more attention.
White Elm Brasserie was the ideal spot for my lunch today. I was warmly welcomed by Veronica, who seated me in a private room away from the hustle and bustle. I started with the delightful two-part appetizer tartine: avocado and smoked salmon—absolutely delicious! For my main course, I indulged in the creatively crafted Sweet Potato Lasagna, which is worth visiting for all on its own. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was peaceful, leaving me completely satisfied. If you're looking to treat yourself to a nice lunch, make your way to White Elm Brasserie and Bakery as soon as possible!
Unfortunately I did not take pictures of my food but it was delicious! The plates where a good portion and beautifully presentable. The service was great and the place is beautiful, it's decorated so nicely and it has a ton of places to sit at.The menu is extensive and I will come back to try other plates!
I was so excited to come out and try this Cafe/Bakery (as their sign at the restaurant shows)? I come in and am seated promptly. The restaurant is really pretty, well decorated, nice colors and harmony throughout. A client calls me so I?m on thephone for 15 minutes?not once did someone come by to take my drink order. I get off of my call and wait and wait andwait?another ten minutes goes by before someone comes by and asks if I have been helped. The no drinks or food on my table wasobviously not a red flag. Part of what I do is review restaurants so I decided to keep an open mind. The tea with Topo Chicowas amazing! Loved it!! So now I?m really excited about what was coming next my order? I see other people around me havingtheir orders taken and I continue to wait and wait and wait?I could have gotten the attention of the waitress but I?m here tonot interfere in what should be a relatively easy process you see a person at a table in a restaurant, it?s only logical toexpect someone to come to my table. Guess what happened? No one came over to take my order. I got up and went to pay my bill for the drink?and I ask the waitress who was at the counter if the restaurant was table service or counter service (because Iwas truly confused at this point). She looks at me and says very seriously oh I thought you just wanted to order a tea. Now Iunderstand it says Cafe Bakery on the exterior, but the menu and the name on Google says something different. They are not acoffee and tea shop, they are a restaurant. If they continue to operate by just selling teas, they won?t be able to pay the highpriced Memorial end cap rent for too much longer. Perhaps this is not their norm. Perhaps they did not like that I walked in bymyself. Perhaps they did not like the way I looked?who knows. What I do know is that I left there feeling slighted and beyonddisappointed. I went across the center to the other end cap at Luchi Joey instead. Different vibe completely,
