It tasted like a mojito, but without the alcohol. It's definitely a new favorite of mine. The cookie monster was for my son, and he seemed to enjoy it as well. We definitely need to go back and try their other signature drinks!
I share the sentiment of another reviewer regarding the lack of cheese in the hot Cheetos cheeseries. The hot Cheetos elotes also fell short in terms of cheese, mayo, and lime. It seems like they use hot Cheetos puffs, which don’t pack the same heat as regular hot Cheetos. The orange chicken was merely average; you’d be better off getting elote from a Mexican restaurant or food truck, and orange chicken from a Chinese establishment. The Ube milkshake was decent, and the spicy watermelon could have benefited from more Tajin and Chamoy. The service was slow, but that’s understandable for a new restaurant. Overall, my first impression is that this place is overrated and overpriced, though I am curious to try more items from the menu. I appreciate the novelty and presentation, however.
Very nice place to try. The location is a little small. They had a Jenga for entertainment that was beautiful. External seating area with more tables than inside. Gurken-Calda and Mangonda was the best of all the things we bought. Presentation and quality of food was just a tad about price for my pleasure. In any case, it would recommend trying it at least once.
This location is noticeably smaller compared to the Bellaire one. While the staff is friendly, the large crowds mean that tables aren't always cleaned right away. I ordered the Mango Twist, Spicy Watermelon, and the Popcorn Chicken Box, which includes chicken, celery, carrots, Cajun fries, and either ketchup or ranch. The box also comes with a drink, so we chose the Strawberry Bliss. All the drinks were fantastic, making it difficult to pick a favorite. But if I had to choose, I’d go for the Mango Twist. I came across some Facebook comments from individuals of a specific ethnicity complaining about the mangoes not being ripe enough. However, if they were overly ripe, they wouldn’t have the delightful twist of flavor that those beautiful mangoes offered through the straw. Plus, many Asian people appreciate both ripe and slightly sour fruits. The Mango Twist has a nice balance of sweet and tart. I really enjoyed it, but that’s just my personal take!
