Definitely our favorite go-to fast food whenever we visit GH. Was introduced to Poke Poke almost two years ago and I must say I’ll keep on coming back. Samurai salmon poke bowl with quinoa rice is our super fave. The freshness is always there. Staff are nice as well. Love the white lights and the ambiance. Won’t trade any for this! My bf especially loves it because it’s just few steps away from his gym and I love it because it’s just by an ice cream shop!
Love at first bite!!! Ordered the Samurai and Dragon Pokés, both quinoa-based, and tadaaaaa.... foodgasm! (Not overreacting there Got a little disappointed at first ‘cos they ran out of salmon which we were looking forward to, but nonetheless, it still exceeded my expectations. Love how the hint of spiciness doesn’t overpower the flavor. Also love the idea that you can create your own bowl. Plus points for that! Value for money is reasonable. Looking forward to trying out all their other pokés! P.S. Located above is Anytime Fitness. You can opt for either pre or post workout meal. Perfect combination. P.P.S. Officially my happy place.
A super place to get an interesting twist to salad. healthy food without sacrificing yumminess. as with many things healthy and good for the body, they are not cheap but worth it.
I made my own bowl here and you can definitely make a very satisfactory bowl on your own. I would say the main thing against Poke Poke is price, with some of their bowls approaching 500 in price, that's a pretty hefty price tag to pay for a poke bowl. You can definitely get something for less than 400 but even then that's kind of pricey. Another thing to me is that they cut their ingredients into pieces that are too small, so a lot of the time they just end up disappearing and you don't really get the sense that they're there. It's definitely okay, but not an every day place.
