The Laughing Dog - Howey

We had an excellent dining experience and were pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant without any prior reviews or recommendations. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but the food was fantastic, and the value for money was outstanding. I would have expected to pay at least 50% more just for the lamb dish alone! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to our children, especially as we tried our best to keep them calm. I highly recommend this traditional pub!

I’ve eaten here a few times, and as a vegetarian, I’m usually a bit skeptical about finding something interesting on the menu. However, this pub never disappoints! The food is consistently fantastic, and everything is done really well. The staff is lovely, and I had a great time chatting with both the waiter and the landlord. I’ll definitely be coming back many more times!

Visited here after she cheerfully informed that she was a chessboard in contrast to all other pubs in the city. friendly personal, relaxed atmosphere. enjoyed a drink and a snack with my swollen chess obsessed 6 years old son

Been meaning to try it for some time. Not dissapointed, food was first class, best chips I have ever had. Fish melted in your mouth. Wife had a 12 Oz steak which again was beautiful. Pepper sauce so tasty. All in all best meal out a long time.
