I first came across The Little Mermaid when they had a spot over at Baan Khun por. They had a hotdog that looked good in the photo, I know it's pretty rare here when the food that arrives at your table actually looks like the photo in the menu but I went ahead and ordered it anyway. When it arrived it looked just like it did in the photo and it was by far the best hotdog that I have eaten in Thailand. It was so good that I mentioned how much I enjoyed it to the proprietor, she was very happy that I liked it so much. She was very friendly and we talked for a bit. She informed me that she would soon be moving to a new location, I knew the exact spot she was talking about so I kept an eye out for it's opening. I have been to the new location two times now. On the first visit to the new location I ordered a Ham Cheese sandwich, on my second visit I ordered the DK Trucker Burger. Both were very good and the service was fast and friendly. There is something that I should mention although it may be a non-issue for you. Smoking is allowed in the front part of the dining area, the front is open but it is not an outside patio. If someone decides to smoke you will smell it no matter where you are sitting in the dining area.
