Moreover, it is difficult to distinguish between veggie and vegan with the picture menu. when they speak Chinese, great, if not, complicated.

Yes, there will be language problems: the menu is only in mandarin, the personal does not speak English and the image menu is missing. but we asked a young couple to order for us the same things they eat and the food was really delicious! so it can also be done if they don't speak Chinese and it will be worth it!

I recommend this restaurant to visitors of hualien who are looking for a beautiful place to sit down and dine a la carte. it has a good selection of high quality Asian cuisine and prices are appropriate. the English menu is somewhat confusing, but they have a picture menu that makes it easier to choose a dish. it has a beautiful atmosphere in the inner, so it is good for couples or small groups to dine-in.

Was here July 2019. Saw this place listed on happycow and gave it a try. Here's my Green Land review. It's located on a main street with clear signage so easy to spot. Menu is in Chinese so it helps if you bring someone who can read it, or you have to ask the waitstaff though they don't speak much English. The menu is pretty big and can be hard to order. We got 3 different set meals to try: one with fried katzu cutlet, one with fried tofu cubes, and one with multigrain rice. Each set came with a soup and a piece of fruit. The tofu one was very good and came with a few slivers of fresh corn and sugar snap peas. The space is casual and comfortable. Flavors are on the heavy side, but tasty anyway.
