I have lived in Huaraz for over 5 years and tried many different Juguerias. The Jugueria Margarita is by no means the best in Huaraz, at best it is very average. We came here because our usual place (Disfrutalo had run out of Mango and I really ripped a mango juice, and also because it was so high rated on Trip Advisor, but what a disappointment! The juice was very average (the mango was much too ripe, the chicken sandwich was terrible (served cold, with pork bread and very little meat and Papas al hallo, and the cake did not taste well. Surprisingly, given the poor quality of everything that the prices were higher than in our usual Jugueria. Too bad, that was probably one of the worst experiences I had in a Jugueria in Huaraz. My guess is that the people who rated this place so high 't tries other places. If you want quality, go to Disfrutalo instead!
When in Huaraz, do as the Huaracinos do. The various juices are great (orange, papaya, mango, etc.) and the cheese or egg sandwiches are really good. If you go for coffee, don't expect 'American', but a small glass with 'concentrated coffee' and a cup of hot water. At least it's not ugly Nescafe. If you make a trek, they open early in the morning and you can take sandwiches-to-go.

I have lived in Huaraz for over 5 years and have tried many different "juguerias". The Jugueria Margarita is by no means the best in Huaraz, at best it is very average. We came here because our usual place (Disfrutalo) had run out of mango and I really craved a mango juice, and also because it was so highly rated on Trip Advisor, but what a disappointment! The juice was very average (the mango was way too ripe), the chicken sandwich was awful (served cold, with stale bread and very little meat and "papas al hilo"), and the cake didn't taste good at all. Surprisingly given the poor quality of everything the prices were higher than at our usual jugueria. What a shame, that was probably one of the worst experiences I have had in a jugueria in Huaraz. My guess is that the people who have rated this place so high haven't tried other places. If you want quality go to Disfrutalo instead!
