Restaurant Le Poirot - HUBERDEAU

My husband and I had a fantastic weekend escape to Lac a la Loutre, and we are thrilled that we decided to dine at Restaurant Le Poirot at Auberge du Lac a la Loutre.

We were impressed with the high quality of the food available at Le Poirot, the dining room of Auberge du Lac à la Loutre. They offer a Table d'hote menu that is reviewed daily.

A charming inn, in business since the 1930's, but no one in the Tremblant area seems to know about it. Food was delicious, menu quite extensive, prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend it to those looking for a quiet meal in a charming inn.

This restaurant is a hidden gem located by a beautiful lake. I visited with three friends in August 2014 and was impressed by the charming building and exquisite decor. The dining room was exceptionally attractive with great attention to detail. The food was outstanding, especially the wild game terrine and foie gras that we ordered as extras. The lamb shank was spicy but delicious, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The presentation of the dishes was superb, with delicate baby lettuce leaves and edible flowers in cucumber cups. Restaurant Le Poirot is definitely worth a visit, but be sure not to miss the side road it's located on. We will definitely be returning.
