The Raj - Huddersfield

Sat with the grandchildren and a beautiful meal. the staff are always friendly and happy to make mild curries for the children.

Excellent; very tasteful cuisine, good menu with friendly and helpful service. Be mindful it is cash only and not licenced. The Petrol station next door sells beer, wines and spirits and now has a cash machine (although it charges for withdrawals).

Lovely evening, food was well cooked and just what I asked for. Party of 6 seated well apart but comfortable. Service first class, everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you.

Staying in Huddersfield and fancied a curry and this was the nearest one. I enjoyed the food and there was more than enough to eat. I ask for a beer but they don't sell it but the guy said I could get some from the garage nextdoor. I wasn't that bothered so just had a coke. I would have left a bigger tip but I had run out of change.

The Lamenting Curry is the best meal I've had in Huddersfield. It could just be that I was lucky with what I ordered, but the experience was fantastic. They seem to go through their offerings thoughtfully, as there's no automated reception service; everything is done manually. The prices are reasonable and very competitive.
