The food was excellent, and the view of the river was beautiful. The cheese curds were amazing, and I also enjoyed the salad with grilled salmon—it was delicious!

I had brunch here on Mother's Day with my sisters and our families, and everything was wonderful. The service was excellent, and our server did a fantastic job. Three of us ordered the 517 burger, which was delicious! The kids really enjoyed their pancakes topped with whipped cream.

517 has just reopened, and we had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service. The menu features a variety of options, ranging from burgers to steaks. I would estimate the prices to be quite reasonable, around half of what you might expect elsewhere. Burgers are priced at about $15, depending on your choices. They were also very accommodating with our somewhat particular special requests. The ambiance seems perfect for a classy outing with friends for drinks.

Very disappointed, stopped in here before it temporarily closed and the food and atmosphere was great. Went with a group of 8 last night and possibly had the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. The appetizers were small servings and had next to no flavor. My wife ordered the filet medium and it came out well done and the baked potato was not fully cooked. When she told the waitress that the steak was over cooked she said, “Sometimes they forget about the steak when there is a large order”. There were about 8 other people in the restaurant at the time. My Cajun pasta tasted like Kraft macaroni and cheese with dried out chicken and sausage added in, no spice what so ever. Extremely overpriced for low quality food, we would have been better off going to Applebees. We will never go back, avoid and hope something better moves into a prime location after this fails.

We came in to eat before we went to Bluegrass Bourbon and Brews fest. My fiancé and I do not eat meat (chicken/beef/pork, ect), we ordered a veggie burger with fries. The restaurant usually cooks their fries in beef fat and we were not aware nor told that when we ordered. I think it took a second for our server to realize that after he took our order and then he made the BOH staff aware?we were informed of the situation and the owner/chef made sure our fries were cooked in veggie oilWe were very grateful that they cared enough to make sure our food stayed totally vegetarian. The only suggestion for change I have is instead of black bean patties look into using impossible meat for your veggie burgers
