Nine Cakes - Hudson

I just had the lemon cake with blueberry compote and it was fabulous! And the staff!!! Thank goodness there are still people who know how to do it. Greet the customer seems to be a lost art- not here though. I did read someone's review about the frosting being too stiff. You have to let it reach room temp to get the right consistency and to let all that flavor come forward. You should go and she should go back)

I can't believe that I forgot to take photos of the desserts here. Each thing more delicious than the next. We had:• an ice cream sandwich: cookie dough ice cream on homemade cookies• an iced coffee• lemon meringue item• molasses cookie

Nine Cakes did our wedding cake and it was the most spectacular, beautiful and DELICIOUS. We went for cardamom lemon (highly recommend! but also got in the mail a tasting sample with multiple, amazing other options! Betsy is a dream, she got exactly what we had in mind, and the guests loved it!! ???‍???

Betsy at Nine Cakes created an incredibly beautiful and delicious cake for our baby shower. The edible flowers on the cake were so realistic that no one believed they were actually edible. Betsy perfectly matched the flowers on the cake to the ones we had at the event. I have included a picture to show the comparison between the real flowers and the sugar flowers. I couldn't be more pleased with both the cake and the service Betsy provided. I highly recommend Nine Cakes!

I had a wonderful experience at Nine Cakes in Hudson! I have always enjoyed their treats, but today I was truly amazed by their offerings. It was my mom's birthday and I wanted to make it special, so I stopped by the bakery. They had slices of a delicious vanilla layer cake with fresh strawberries, as well as the best gluten free chocolate cake I have ever tasted. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up leaving with a slice of cake for my mom, a birthday candle, the gluten free cake, a blueberry muffin for myself, and a macaron. Nine Cakes has always been a favorite of mine, but now I love them even more for their amazing gluten free option. I hope they stay in Hudson forever!
