It would have been nice if she had come back to offer refills on our chips, salsa, or drinks, but we didn't see her again after that brief encounter. I honestly felt annoyed giving a 15% tip. Additionally, I encountered an unpleasant surprise in the bathroom after a child came out—the toilet hadn't been flushed. They definitely need to work on the ventilation or at least improve air circulation in there. Overall, I found the experience to be overpriced and overrated. Our bill could have been even higher if we had ordered from the bar, so I’m grateful we passed on that. I certainly wouldn’t consider returning here if I'm in the area again.
I visited this restaurant with Debra R, Jose R, and a few others. We started with some cheese curds and pickle chips as appetizers. I ordered a veggie burger, while the rest of the group chose different dishes. The food was delicious, and the service was great as well.
Since moving out of town, we've really missed this place. We recently went for lunch and were delighted to see how the menu is always changing, which I really appreciate. They still keep the classic dishes that made Agave famous. The happy hour specials are great, although I did notice that inflation has affected them, just like it has everywhere else. I tried the Cabo burger, and it was fantastic—I could only eat half of it! I enjoy their salsa too much, so I decided against upgrading to fries. My husband ordered the timeless chimichanga (with pork, of course), which remains a staple at Agave and is always included in the happy hour specials. We’ve never been disappointed with our visits there.
The Agave Twinkies are soo good. Decent service and good location to people watch in Hudson
This restaurant is larger than I anticipated, featuring three floors and two bars. The steak fries were visually impressive. We decided to try the famous nachos and wings. I requested extra of that creamy sauce because it was simply divine. However, the pork was a bit dry. The wings were tasty, and we opted for the dry rub and garlic teriyaki flavors. I would suggest avoiding the roasted garlic aioli, as there are better dipping sauces for wings. On a positive note, I highly recommend the mojitos.
