Highly recommended. this little gem found on trip advisor. omgosh, what a great experience. eating was great. we had the nativity I can say. excellent! all were friendly, the owners are super nice. so much history to the building. well-stocked bar some good craft beer from a brewery from hays, ks . if they find themselves in westernkansas, that is one to stop. should they go west on I70 and go through hays, don't stop them, just drive them further. I promise you you won't be disappointed.

Great steak, friendly staff, good sides. the kind of place for which they would drive a long way out of the way. I had a KC ridge eye. wife had pesto pasta with huh. not for dieter, but an unforgettable eating. I would come back in a flash. only suggest - I asked for a medium-sized rare steak and got a closer to medium. next time I'll ask for a rare time. good choice.

On the way between denver and missouri. it was worth the ride. we had bill fries and steaks. that was great. the atmosphere was a wonderful restaurant in the home town. better than any chain restaurant.

Best rib eye steak I have ever had!!! Tender and cooked to perfection. Owner raises and butcher’s his own meat. $22.00 for a 16oz rib eye insanely cheap for the meat prices in the store. Hubby got a pasta dish, which was good, but after tasting my steak he wished we had split it?. Service and food was EXCELLENT!!

Excellent Excellent steak. Great atmosphere. I had the rib eye with toothpicks on it. The jalapeños of the toothpicks weren't as spicy as I expected. Not sure if i was happy or let down by this.
