Restaurant 1710 - Hudson

Great value, great service, value for money , family friendly, overall cannot be beaten. Beats any of the chain restos hands down. dont tell everyone its our little village secret!

Very nice vaguely Japanese decor. Fast service, friendly server, and the bottomless coffee mug was topped up regularly. Breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausage, healthy stuff like cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, pineapple etc included, and a pancake that was just the right size after such a breakfast. Highly recommend 1710. Hours are 06:00 to mid-afternoon; they serve breakfast and lunch only.

Went with a huge group of people for brunch and were accommodated right away. The food was fast, affordable and delicious. Everyone got exactly what they ordered and it was amazing! Our waitress Tina was extremely nice to our large group and was always there when we needed her. Would highly recommend!

We've been to this restaurant twice: once for breakfast and once for lunch. The breakfast was fine, although by no means as good as other options available in St-Lazare. The lunch, however ... I ordered a steak sandwich. It was enormous - would easily have fed three people. The steak didn't smell fresh. It came on a white sub-type bun with iceberg lettuce and tomatoes, and was slathered with some kind of orange-coloured sauce. There was also a huge pile of frozen French fries on the plate that smelled of old frying oil. The only things that were edible were the lettuce and tomatoes.This is a restaurant that should focus a whole lot more on quality and a whole lot less on quantity. Sadly, it's just another name on a very long list of places these days where you pay a lot of money to eat sub-standard food.

We were at this restaurant to brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was quite busy. it is worth noting that the decor is a little special with the mix of colors on the walls and furniture but good we had come to eat not to admire the decor. Prices are reasonable and the plates are at least $2 cheaper than the lunch rooms. a weekend plate with eggs, meat and everything else is $11.95 and this one is able to satisfy big appetites. Interestingly, the fruits served with the plates are of very good quality and not like those of plastic that we are often used in places of the genre. The coffee is served constantly and the waitresses all have a nice smile and are very helpful. It's a good little restaurant when you're around
