Hotel Restaurant du Lac - Huelgoat

We had lunch. we hadn't reserved, but they could find us a table for both of us. the food was excellent. the staff was very friendly, attentive and efficient. I would recommend this place to everyone. it is not...the first time we were and every time it was excellent whether the order of steaks, fish or pizza. I will definitely go back. Thank you.

In agreement with the excellent of the hotel the restaurant was also excellent. good selection of pizzas and classic French dressed and they were happy to eat gluten-free (by removing sauce) and tweaken the pizza (by removing ham). good choice of crying. would definitely go back.

We own a house near Huelgoat, and regard the Hotel Du Lac as our favourite place to eat. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food consistently good.Service is quick and efficient too.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at the Hótel du Lac. We chose the set dinner menu and were delighted with our choices. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the portion size was very appropriate for a course meal and it...was well prepared. The staff were very friendly and understanding of our limited French. We chose a lovely Beaujolais to accompany our dinner and it too was very good. We felt it was a very good value for courses and the a la carte menu looked delicious as well. This restaurant has to be one of the most reliable institutions in France. When other places have closed because it's Sunday, August, the local Pardon' or the Feast of the Assumption, the Hôtel du Lac is there. The food isn't fancy but there's plenty of...variety and it's all done to a good standard. And the wine is all reasonably priced! Instead of having a crêpe for lunch, try a Hôtel du Lac pizza. They're really quite impressive cooked in a proper pizza oven in the traditional Neapolitan style. Good value, too.
