We had Egyptian breakfast. Food and atmosphere are beautiful.
Absolutely fantastic food, so delicious with good ingredients. The best we had in a long time. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly order again. Thank you.
Beautiful cozy interior and Egyptian theme that created a great ambience. Bring your own bottle/wine that is always a plus when you eat. The menu has a variety of vegetarian and meat starters, main courses and Tagines. We choose a variety of vegetable, cheese and meat dishes. The food was amazing and tastefully served in original dishes. Great service, will definitely try other dishes again and recommend friends.
I got the impression this was a family restaurant. I went as it opened for breakfast and the tables hadn't been wiped down from the evening before. I ordered an Arabic Breakfast Lemon Tea. The Lemon Tea was served in a Middle Eastern tea pot and with a small glass which was exciting, but the glass was suddy and so was my friends'. Considering the tea was from a tea bag there were bits floating in my drink. There was additional favouring to the tea but I didn't notice any small herbs. After seeing the dirty tables and tarnished and scrubby looking everything I didn't really want to drink much more. For the breakfast, I wasn't keen on sloppy eggs and that put me off a little but overall it tasted good. I had to give the cutlery a good wipe with my napkin tho. The breakfast came with a large side of Pita Bread too. I left feeling a bit like I needed a wash. It didn't feel a level of cleanliness that I would expect from a food place. The food was presented well and the flavours all worked but overall it left a bad taste after noticing it was a bit of a grubby place.
