Slightly steep climb, to be completed in 50 minutes, beautiful view from the terrace towards Alpstein and on the other side towards the lake!

Nice and friendly and good food

Wunderbar gelegen mit Blick auf Bodensse, Alpstein und Alpen. Schöne Wanderung ob von Gonten, Hundwil, Zürchersmühle oder Jakobsbad aus. Leider ist das Restaurant eine Katastrophe. Keine Bedienung an den Tischen, dafür in Corona-Zeiten ein 'ewiges ' Anstehen in einer Schlange (die meisten ohne Maske) um ein Getränk oder eine Bratwurst zu bestellen. Das Personal völlig überfordert. Unbedingt Picknick mitnehemn sonst besteht Gefahr von 'Hungerast '.

Very glad of the rest at the top out of the snow and wind. Always popular with walkers. Traditional decor. Had a very tasty venison sausage and good mixed salad. Friendly staff.
