Feedback gevenHad lunch here. Beautiful space. We sat outside. Clean, spacious. The waitresses were nice. I ordered the penne a la vodka w/chicken, huge portions. Absolutely no taste. The chicken was dry and old as u could clearly see that dried with white spots on pieces of it. The naan bread with goatcheede and mushrooms and tomatoes were ok. The waitress came over and asked if everything was fine twice and never noticed the water glasses empty. Third time I pointed it out.
Great value, awesome view, kind, attentive staff, and the food was outstanding! Great beer here too, my husband I are both picky, but we each enjoyed their brews!
This place was surprisingly good. I didn't expect Indian food (had samosas and chicken tikka) in a brewery, but they nailed it. The pretzel bites and meatballs were perfect. Highly recommend!
I purchased a pint glass from this brewery while on vacation in the area after having a great experience. I asked about the care and keeping of the glass (dishwasher safe, etc. since it was going to be a keepsake for our time there. The person who checked out my transaction informed me no special care was required and I went about my way and drove the next 18 hours home. The glass was beautiful when i unboxed it and I added it to the dishwasher load to clean it before moving it to the display shelf. When I pulled the glass out it had been completely ruined by the dishwasher. I reached out to Hunter Mountain directly to see if I could get a replacement glass I offered to pay for a replacement and they informed me they’d be happy to send a new one, which I have a screenshot of. That was this summer, in July. It’s now November and after following up with them a few times, they have now blocked me from being able to contact them through social media and are hanging up on me when I call to inquire. I would have been entirely accepting if they had just said “hey tough luck, our guy was wrong but this stuff happens, better luck next time” but instead they tried to misrepresent their customer experience by assuring me they would help me out, then doggedly ignoring me for months. Now I’m just ticked off, with a junk glass and sour memories. Food might be good but their management, staff and customer service are abysmal. I’d personally chose to give my money to other establishments and I’ll never be returning, while now telling everyone I know in the area and traveling there to avoid it. Hands down the WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had.
We ordered take out for dinner on a Sunday. Since it was for a large group I contacted the restaurant by phone, text and email confirming the details in advance. Every response was polite and friendly but it was clear that there was no central system... I was responded to with similar info each time. And then the food was cold. Tasty, correct and nicely packaged, but cold. In spite of being really clear about the pick up time. We were staying about a half mile away, so travel time was not the issue.
