Que Onda Cantina Highland Creek

The food is fantastic, but I have to ask—why do they serve a child-sized cup of soup for $4.50? Just look at my iPhone 11 next to it for size comparison. It feels like a total rip-off, but I must admit, the food is delicious.

09.03.2022 @6:15. Party of four. Chips came almost as soon as we set ourselves. Our server was fast with our beverage order. I wish I could remember her name, she was on point!!! I dropped my fork and she had new cutlery without asking. Our glasses were never empty and our food came hot and fresh. I had the Cubana Sandwich. Absolutely fantastic. Portions are very large and everyone had to ask for a box. I asked for really hot sauce and she brought three different ways to try. All were good! The hottest one was hot and very good. This is the third place we visited and we were never disappointed. This is the closest home and we definitely back customers! A food service.

Me and my girlfriend decided to come here for lunch and we were extremely impressed. This Mexican restaurant was so delicious.. the tacos were very flavorful and this restaurant has reasonable prices and great customer service.

Update: Used to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Charlotte, not anymore. Disrespectful to customers and food preparation quality is no longer what it used to be. Longtime customer, gone. Previous review: Great food, comfy environment. The chef is upping his game recently with a Mexican brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The Mexican Benedict was wonderfully flavored, even though the fried corn cake it was served on was too hard from frying it would be better served with a soft cornbread cake. The large plate pictured is the chimichanga, also very good. Don't forget to ask to try their whipped habanero and jalapeño dips that are incredibly delicious (and dangerously spicy).

I had a wonderful experience at Que Onda Cantina. The tacos were delicious and expertly made! I really appreciated the variety of options available. The empanadas were also fantastic. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for more!
