Red Rocks Cafe: Birkdale Village

The coconut dish was delicious and packed with coconut flavor. It came with a teriyaki sauce that was a fantastic pairing and made for a great dipping sauce. I also tried the Apple Mule, which was good but didn’t quite compare to the martini. It had a nice apple flavor, and the ginger came through as well, but I don’t think it was a worthy follow-up to the cucumber martini. Next, I enjoyed a plate of jambalaya! The flavors were out of this world! I’m not sure if it’s traditional, but I was definitely not disappointed. The spices and heat were just right, and there was a good amount of protein without feeling too rice-heavy. The only oddity was the whole Roma tomato on the dish, which I would have preferred to be left off. I picked it up, but I would definitely request it to be omitted next time I order! Overall, I had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back for more of that cucumber martini!

The food was delicious, and the service was commendable despite the staff shortages. Our waiter did his best to take care of us. I really enjoyed the area with the large screen TV and seating—it was a great setup!

Had a friend for dinner and didn't know it was Restaurant Week. We both have the 12 ounces. Ribeye, perfectly cooked with garlic and carrot cake for dessert. The waiter DJ was really good and my Gurke martini was delish. Total good experience.

Great Experience! Food was seasoned well, Elegant ambiance, and Professional servers along with the Valet parking. I devoured the Lobster Ravioli! Enjoyed the visit during Charlotte Restaurant Week in July 2022.

Went to Red Rocks for a delicious Mother?s Day dinner. As a busy Realtor had to celebrate Mother?s Day the day after. So happy I did! At first I was disappointed to find out they took the Thai chili mussels off the menu, but there potato cakes definitely made up for it. It was my first time having them as a starter and definitely won?t be the last. Are server Laurie was very attentive. The blue cheese olive martinis were delicious. I also saved room for dessert and was happy I did. We had the tuxedo cheese cake, and it was the perfect ending to the night.
