Saladworks - Huntersville

If you have not already been to the Saladworks in Huntersville, you should go. My daughter introduced me to the place as a reminder of one that I used to frequent in PA many moons ago.I have only dined in once and usually get my food to go. I can do that because they never get my order wrong. They are very determined to fill the online orders correctly and they have a very large and inviting selection of topics for the salads. Try the soup and the salads for yourself and you will not be disappointed.

I used to love getting food here, but the last two times were disappointing. Veggie toppings were sparse, and there was hardly any pasta in the grain bowl I ordered. Felt more like a $9 bowl than the nearly $12 I paid.

The establishment was very clean and inviting. I ordered an Avocado Cobb Salad. It was very tasty. I omitted the blue cheese and tomatoes, but I replaced them with purple onions and another type of cheese, I forget. The service was okay, but the employee fixing my food could have been a little nicer. Overall, good salad. I dined in and it was not crowded.

As a first-time customer, I was quite disappointed. My half turkey bacon sandwich consisted mainly of bread, lettuce, and dressing. There was only one small piece of bacon, and the turkey seemed to be just a few torn pieces of chicken from a tender. If I had dined in, I would have definitely sent it back, but since it was an online order, they had 45 minutes to prepare it. The accompanying Greek salad was just mediocre and lacking in feta. This was definitely not worth the $13 for lunch! The picture below shows the sandwich in its entirety—take a close look for any meat.

As for parking, there are several street spots available right in front of the restaurant if you arrive early. However, I imagine it becomes more challenging to find parking as the day progresses and it gets busier. Fortunately, there is a grocery store with a nearby parking lot.
