The staff were consistently friendly without being intrusive, and our meals arrived faster than we expected. The chef excelled in meal preparation. The restaurant itself is bright and airy, with ample space between tables, and the brand-new facilities were fabulous. The prices were generous considering the quality we received. Our friends traveled quite a distance to join us and left feeling that the 100-mile trip was more than worth it, even asking when we would return. The next day, I went back to purchase some of the same quality meats from the farm shop, which again offered an impressive selection. I highly recommend Johnsons of Old Hurst to anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience in a welcoming family-run business. We're very grateful to have discovered this gem and are eager to return again and again. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as the go-to destination for quality, value, and excellent service.

This is a fantastic restaurant—truly the best farm around for miles! The tea shop and steakhouse are both exceptional.

What a beautiful place! We visited on Saturday and were so glad we did. It's a fantastic location with well-maintained animals, along with a wonderful gift shop, bakery, butcher, and coffee shop. The best part is that entry is free, which is quite rare. I highly recommend a visit! My grandchild loved it too, and we will definitely be back!

I have paid johnson's visit first when they came back the st. ives motorcycle show two weeks later with the woman with the car, about an hour drive worth the effort. we enjoyed the forest walk and the view of the various animals and birds worked on an appetit and the caffe did not leave us one of the best plowers I had in a long time. Although the personal has cleaned the tables very fast and generally large service, the pre site metzgern is a visit fantastic selection of food to reasonable trips now are my grandchildren on vacation I plan to visit another as I know that they will enjoy johnsons as much as we will. so glad they kept the motorcycle show!

Lovely farm with a lovely tea room and farm shop. Birds, ducks, crocs, peacocks, noisy turkeys, donkeys and deer. Great day out for all the family.
