Charo Chicken - Huntington Beach

Unfortunately, every time I order takeout from either Seal Beach or Huntington Beach, there seems to be an issue with my order. The last time, I requested extra garlic butter, but it was missing, and I only received two salsas. I really love Charro Chicken, but it's getting quite frustrating with the repeated mistakes in my takeout orders. In fact, it has become a running joke in my family when we order from CC: we always wonder what they will mess up this time!

The chicken was just average and overly drenched in condiments. I believe the condiments need better balance. The beans, rice, and salsa were also below average. While this place wasn't impressive, El Pollo Loco remains my top choice, followed by Juan Pollo in second, and Charro Chicken as my last option.

The first restaurant I visited in Huntington Beach, 10 years ago, and I still enjoy dining here a couple of times a month. The food is great, and the service is excellent!

It is way better than pollo locco!!! Probably the best in orange county. The chicken pieces was fresh, and the spicy sauce they had on the chicken was really tasty.

The Charo Chicken in Huntington Beach is efficient and friendly. The lemon butter sauce on the chicken is delicious, and I love their cilantro dressing on their fresh salads! We usually get take-out.
