I grew up in Huntington Beach for the first 28 years of my life. I was a teen when Polly's opened. I went there frequently. Then when my son was a newborn in 1988, I walked to Polly's with him in his stroller. The servers were always kind and never minded me dining with a baby. Even though I moved away from Huntington Beach, CA in 1994, I visit Polly's on Brookhurst and Adams every chance I get. Their pies are fabulous, the chicken pie dinner is yummy, and I usually drink 4-5 cups of their coffee during each visit. Funny thing about the excessive coffee is that I am not a coffee drinker. It's that flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and there are even rocking chairs for customers to relax and rock while waiting.
