Santa Maria Bbq Huntington Beach

I brought my family here yesterday and was very happy with the service. Our waitress Rose was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious. All a great experience. We highly recommend for BBQ.

Was going to give a 1 or 2 star based on price and portion sizes, but man it tastes good. Well at least the brisket and the rice were super delicious. The mac was average. I was upset that a brisket plate 7 oz) with 2 sides and no drink or bread is 22.85+ tax. Sheesh very high, and the sides and sauces were super small portions. Honestly not worth the money for me because I eat a lot would need 2 plates to be full, but if you got it like that, go for it because the brisket, rice, and sauce taste phenomenal. I probably won?t go back unless someone else is buying ; Honestly though check out the pictures that sauce was untouched, had like two licks worth. Again very delicious but way too pricy for small portions. It?s supposed to be bbq.

Been going to SM BBQ for a long time. I always order in the restaurant. Usually get 2 meat combo and sides. The portions use to be very generous (I told them how many people and they recommended how much). Just got my last order and the portions were much less than ever before. I noticed the employees were all new and I asked why and was told new management and they have to weigh and account for everything. This isn't about paying this is about customer service and giving the customer what they are requesting. They used to do that and I paid. Just know new management and new employees (very nice) just not fulfilling my needs any longer.

This was the backup plan for my hubby?s birthday dinner. Small place and there were 6 of us needing a table inside since it was cold! We were able to push 3 tables together and it worked fine. Good selection of beers, both bottles and on tap. Highly recommend the brisket sandwich. The coke slaw was not your typical coke slaw. It was light and delicious, not drowning in mayonnaise! I?m hoping it was healthy! The corn was delicious as was the bacon Mac cheese. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Give them a try. You won?t be disappointed.

So sad I just found out that this place has been open since July. Went here all the time when it was owned by the BT people. The inside looks very similar, but seems cleaner and the floors are nicer. The people working here are very friendly and had good recommendations for food. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was so delicious. Didn?t even need to add to much sauce because it was so flavorful. I had French fries on the side and they were also tasty. I will definitely be frequenting this place for beer and meat. Happy that we got our bbq place back in the area!
